These verses offer comfort, hope, and perspective on grief and loss from the Bible. They can be used for personal reflection, in support groups, or as part of bereavement counseling to provide spiritual support to those who are grieving.

 

1. Psalm 34:18 - "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

 

2. Matthew 5:4 - "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."

 

3. John 14:27 - "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

 

4. Revelation 21:4 - "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

 

5. Psalm 147:3 - "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
